6 a.m. Storm
by Aidan Barger
grasping dawn
purple lightning,
a yawning sky of
morning monochrome,
some kind of upside-jazz,
solar swivel to soaring
desire, imbalance
in the face of fallen
walnuts, lime-green leaves
skipping on susurrus to leap,
lose these
lingering limbs.
